About us
"Noi Giovani" was founded in November 1987 on the initiative of Galugnano's Catholic Action youth group, as a monthly parish bulletin — of Catholic Action, but also of local news — distributed free in the town and mailed to Galugnano natives living elsewhere, to keep them close to the life of the community.
In 1989 the publication was registered with the Court of Lecce (no. 454); in 1996 the association adopted a formal statute by notarial deed. After a decade under its founder's direction, "Noi Giovani" is today led by Emanuele Dell'Anna (Director) and Davide Dell'Anna (Deputy Director).
Within the association there also grew the "Gruppo Amatori del Teatro" (Amateur Theatre Group), performing at the opening of each social year, and a scholarship named after the local doctor "Don Pippi Cucurachi".
